Rodrigo y Gabriela played last week in the Savoy. I hadn't seen them play before but I was definitely impressed by them. Unfortunately I was less impressed by the guy standing near me that kept yelling at Gabriela - 'I love you' and 'I want to marry you'. He also kept making noises that sounded like a cross between speedy gonzales and a demented fake Mexican from a cheesy (in both senses of the word) taco ad. The highlight of the night for me was when they played 'Wish you were here' by Pink Floyd and the crowd sang the words - class!
