Quote of the Week

If a dog jumps in your lap, it is because he is fond of you; but if a cat does the same thing, it is because your lap is warmer.

Alfred North Whitehead
English mathematician & philosopher (1861 - 1947)

Comments:
I had to think about that one - I've been lucky to have really affectionate cats. But it's true - you're only as loved as the last time you feed them. You try to coax them over and they look at you as if to say, 'Sorry, do I know you?'

I kind of admire cats for their 'take it or leave it' attitude but it's true that they only love you when you feed them or they need a warm place to take a nap.

You girls and your pussies...

Evil. Cats are just pure evil. Btw, get on over to my blog to check out the results of the competition.

RC, the results of your competition suck, much like your slogan that won the competition.

It's hard not to talk about cats without coming over all Mrs Slocombe - 'Has anyone seen my pussy?' 'Nobody has in a while, luv' etczzzz.

Oh that is so true! But we still love 'em eh?

Check out Hitler Cats, as mentioned on Jonathan Ross last night.

Freaky and hilarious RC, thanks for the link.
