Being mindful of yesterdays post, I'm sure Mr Shaw meant the pluralistic definition of Man or mankind to include women folk too!
No, I think he just knew women are smarter and do learn from experience but that men are just stupid and no matter how many time you tell them, they still don't do it right! :-)
I'd say Shaw probably meant both men and women when he uttered that thought. I think a person's ability to learn from experience is probably down to their personality type rather than their sex.
