Quote of the Week

A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain.

Mark Twain
US humorist, novelist, short story author, & wit (1835 - 1910)

Comments:
Good one... given my recent experience with my bank manager, I know how that feels! :-)

I could rant for days about what a rip off the current big banks in Ireland are but I doubt it would make a difference.

Ah let's not get upset about it... life is too short! Let's have some fun instead. :-)

Hi Betty,

You'll be very impressed that I managed to google you and find your blog. Really enjoyed the quotes of the week, particularly this one which I thought was really apposite.

Thinking about forwarding this one to our gang who do banking - not sure they would appreciate it though.

See you later alligator.
