Quote of the Week

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

Friedrich Nietzsche
German philosopher (1844 - 1900)

I like it. This is kinda the tack that big corporations go for:

"Be individuals, all of you, and buy our products because you are each an individual (even though you feel the need to buy the product as everybody else does)".

Where do you get these quotes by the way? Do you have a quote book or something?

I like it.
