As promised ER was back on our screens last night and it took up where it had left off months ago with the kidnapping of Sam and her son, Abbey bleeding and collapsed, Luka tied to a trolley with a tube down his throat and Jerry shot by the kidnappers. I’m beginning to think that ER is too stressful for a Sunday night. I’d say I had heart palpitations for most of the programme. I could even feel my sister getting stressed beside me on the couch as we watched it. I know it was the first programme of the new series but they really went for the jugular. If it doesn’t calm down and if something good doesn’t happen soon then I might have to start a campaign to bring Gray’s Anatomy back instead of ER!
