Cathy Davey played a series of gigs in Cyprus Avenue during October. I managed to go along to the second last gig on the 24th of October. Cyprus Avenue was pretty packed but with a little manoeuvring Ratgirl and I managed to got a reasonable view of the stage (well inbetween other people’s heads). Cathy Davey released her second album "Tales Of Silversleeve" last month on the 12th of October and according to her myspace page she will be back in Cyprus Avenue on the 10th of December. I really enjoyed the gig, which was nice and upbeat plus it never hurts to have Paul Noonan as your drummer!
