Liam O’Maonlai played in the Bailey in Cork on the Saturday of the Jazz Festival. I’m not a massive fan of the Bailey but was pleasantly surprised by the nice atmosphere for this early gig. Liam played a number of different instruments (I’m not even sure of the names of one of them) and sang in about four different languages. He also treated us to a bit of his own dancing during his encore. I enjoyed this gig and there was a good mix of people at it, including some really cute kids that were dancing in front of the small stage.
